| I noticed the SKU numbers
on the big sheets of 4 x 8 foot plywood at Home Depot. The number
is a code to keep track of inventory and sales. Likewise each merz_city
image would have an SKU number. The SKU would be the day that it
was made, plus a sequence number in case there were more than one
on the same day. SKU was an ID marker too, like a passport. You
are moving through airport security. You are afraid you will be
stopped in the security checkpoint at the airport for some random
reason, like a mistake in the code attached to your passport number.
