| ANGELS (MOVE VARIATION 2) |
|
 |
 |
 |
| I was working with a series of very
dark image files, sort of a doorway shadow, called ‘moves’, without much articulation
of detail, just the feeling of movement, or movement just passing
over a threshold. At the same time there was another image file
which I had densely collaged almost like a pile of trash, fragments
of digital and film shots from the memorial site at La Conchita.
I noticed that one fit over the other like a glove. The ‘angels’ appellation
appears beneath some snapshots of the lost children—part of
collages their friends made to hang along the tops of the chainlink
barrier. |
