My body seemed to be full
of pain welling up from below or from the back of the spine. The
drawings cast the pain out through the paper. In this sense they
become antidotes and in some sense then are pharmakons, part of
the Poison Library series. On a topologic level they function as
pharmakon/antidotes, performatively. On the level of topography,
they are mappings of patches of exposed earth against a brittle
shell of salt along the Simmler Ranch Road at Soda Lake, Carrizo
