I have been using drawings
as a performative integer/integral anyway so in terms of landscape
the idea is that casting is a conceptual strategy which could also
be totally material. Making a topology-- casting in the sense of
casting your bread upon the waters or making a mold or displacing
a pattern onto another pattern. Carrizo Plain is a powerful site,
geologically, and Soda Lake has no outlets, in its center. The casting
strategy that puts you deep 'inside' the scape means the topology
is as much in side you as sidereally/ outside you.
